Gaza: The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli airstrikes across various areas of the Gaza Strip rose to 413 early Tuesday morning, according to the Gaza-based health authorities. In a press statement, the authorities reported that at least 562 people have been injured in the latest wave of attacks.

Rescue efforts are underway as many victims are believed to be trapped beneath rubble. Emergency teams are working to retrieve those still missing.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military, in coordination with the Shin Bet domestic intelligence agency, announced Tuesday afternoon that operations targeting Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad are ongoing throughout Gaza. According to their joint statement, recent strikes have hit "terrorist cells, launch posts, weapons stockpiles, and additional military infrastructure."

The Israeli government stated that it resumed its strikes due to Hamas’ repeated refusal to release hostages and its rejection of proposals offered by U.S. presidential envoy Steve Witkoff and other mediators.

In response, Hamas accused Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement that took effect on January 19. Hamas has called on international mediators to pressure Israel to halt its military campaign.
